Lucknow: Five Labourers were did and six others suffered injuries after a car crashed into a night shelter in Lucknow. The Hyndai i20 car was in speed and after driver lost the control it crashed into the night shelter.

The car occupants were Son of former MLA from Mohanlalganj and other the son of a businessman.

According to eyewitnesses the car was driven at a high speed when accident happened around 2 am. Near about 50 labourers were sleeping in the shelter, sudden crash leaves five dead and several injured, labourers those suffered injuries taken to hospital.The Labourers who killed in the accident was from Baharaich and was on daily wages.

As per another eyewitness both occupants in the car were totally drunk.

"4 people are dead and 4 are grievously injured. As per available information, two young men were in the car. We are checking about the reported presence of a third person in the car. We have arrested the two accused and they have also been identified. They both were drunk at the time of the incident. We are interrogating them and will share more details later," said senior police officer Manzil Saini.
