New Delhi: The vigorous blast incident that took place in Shiite neighbouring to Afghanistan on Wednesday. In the blast 48 people killed and more than 67 injured.

According to the sources, the incident took place in a private education centre in the west of Afghan, in which students were preparing for their University entrance exam, when bombers strucked in the Dasht-i Barcha area of Kabul. 

According to the information, the investigators said that the bombers entered the centre from a rear entrance and made their way into the classroom, where more then 100 students were gathered. In the blast most of the boys were killed. The students were torn into pieces in the blast said Sayed Ali, who witnessed the blast.

No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack but Jawad Ghawari, a member of the city's Shiite clerical council, blamed IS, which has carried similar attacks on Shiites in the past.

According to the sources, UNICEF, the UN agency condemned the blast and expressed alarm over the attack on education centre.
