Paris based Financial Action Task Force’s (FATF) last year placed India's neighbouring nation Pakistan in it's grey list of the nations who are categorised as week in its laws of dealing with money laundering and terrorism. The country still has time available in hands to manage coping above this list this year.

India has given Pak a timely reminder of the same. India said that Pak could still take "credible, verifiable, irreversible and sustainable measures" in the time left until september 2019. FAFT issued a statement on Friday where it provoked "Pakistan to swiftly complete its action plan by October 2019 when the last set of action plan items are set to expire."

If Pakistan fails to comply within the limited time period, the FATF would decide the enxt step against teh nation and that step could probably include blacklisting Pakistan. FATF has given Pak a Ten point Target to be completed by october 2019.
