Ahemedabad: On Monday evening, PM Modi inaugurated the Nobel Prize Exhibition at Gujrat. On this occasion a discussion with 9 Nobel laureates is also held at science city.
PM Modi said that 'Earlier there were occasion of Nobel laureates visit to India and limited interaction with media and scientists. But, today, we are making history by having a galaxy of Nobel laureates in Gujarat.'
"My government has a clear vision of where we want India to be in the next 15 years. Science and technology is the pivot on which that vision will translate into strategy and action," he added.
PM Modi address 250 students. He asked them to take the best of the events and claimed that such interaction would make one employable in a knowledge economy and science driven entrepreneurship.

PM also mentioned Venkatraman Ramakrishnan's Gujarat connections. Venkatraman Ramakrishnan won 2009 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his work on ribosome structure.
